We are participating in the Schmitt Park Rummage Sale Friday, May 31 and Saturday, June 1 from 8 am to 2 pm both days. All proceeds will go to neighborhood charities. Please bring your rummage items to church beginning May 28th. Workers are needed to set up and mark items May 29th beginning at 11 am and May 30th beginning at 9 am.
Our next congregation meeting is Sunday, June 2nd at 10:30 a.m. At this meeting we will conduct the business of our church, specifically, director reports, old and new business, a time for questions, comments and fellowship.
Please plan to attend every congregation meeting as we discover our path forward. Future meetings will be the first Sunday of every month at 10:30 a.m. Coffee will be served.
5:30 pm to 7:00 pm
Join us at Christ of the Bay for three free events this summer. We want to encourage families to take some time and get to know each other again. There will be dinner, devotion, music, crafts, and games. Each family will have its own table to help encourage togetherness in the busy times of life.
Preregistration is required
The Master Cup Coffee House is now open in the fellowship hall from 8 to noon Monday through Friday. Door County coffee, teas and hot chocolate are available as well as fresh-baked muffins, brownies and cinnamon rolls – yum! Come and see and bring a friend!
We need a few people to take a turn at mowing the church property. We have a rider to use to mow our property and trimming is needed. Both mowers are located in our garage. Please consider writing your name down on the sign-up sheet for a couple weeks this summer. If we have several people helping, it won’t be such a big job for a few people. Contact our property director, Brent Hood, for more information.
Garden Spots – Gardening is a great way to exercise, relax, and marvel at God’s grace. Christ of the Bay provides 20 spots. Each spot is 10’ by 15’. No charge. Each gardener takes care of his own spot. Garden spots are now available. Please help spread the word that we have space.
If interested, call Rob Grothman at 920-621-8165.
The 2019 Flower Chart is available. Please sign up to donate flowers for the altar commemorating your special events. The cost for each arrangement is $15.00 payable by a check to Christ of the Bay Lutheran Church, placed in the offering plate in an envelope marked “Flowers”.
